Green Bond Framework

In our sphere of influence, we're actively working to address global challenges such as climate change. One of our key strategies involves assisting investors in prioritising investments with solutions relating to climate change. We're doing this by creating a Green Bond Framework. The framework will serve as a guideline for future Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) issuances in both Australia and New Zealand, allowing them to include identifiable and qualifying "green" tranches under the International Capital Markets Association (ICMA) Green Bond Principles (GBP). The "green" tranches will also be certified as eligible "green" bonds by the Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI) under the Climate Bonds Standard (CBS).

In line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 11, which aims to create inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable cities and human settlements, and in support of the FleetPartners broader sustainability strategy, the Green ABS will be issued to finance or refinance assets that meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the Framework.
